Trust the farmer
Sunrise Orchards is purely an
apple delight. The 175 acres of land chosen by my father, Barney
hodges, Jr. in 1974, was specifically sited on gentle sloping east
facing hills. The well-suited land combined with the cool September
nights of Vermont's Champlain Valley creates a perfect environment for
growing some of New England's best-flavored apples.

Sunrise Orchards, located in Beautiful
Central Vermont is owned and
operated by me, Barney Hodges III, and my wife Christiana along with
our three children. Sunrise Orchards is the home of three generations
of Hodges. We are passionate about our apples and the land we care for.
Growing apples and providing local produce to our neighbors and
community is a privilege we take seriously.
